Interview
Romain Kremer is a man of his time, open to the Art World, intuitive and creative at once.
In 2005, e was awarded the first prize at the International Fashion and Photography festival of Hyeres.
After 10 years as a dancer, this music aficionado, who also loves drawing, he found his half way point in fashion.
SM: You could have been a dancer but you chose fashion instead.
Romain Kremer: I don’t regret that choice. I still love dance and I know I could have been a dancer, but I’d rather be at the service of others rather than my own, more especially somebody else’s body.
I love fashion because we talk about ourselves on behalf of others. On the other hand, dance is a narcissistic relationship with the body.
I didn’t think that dance would have go me where I wanted to go.
