Fall-Winter 2013-2014
Ape looking creatures in couples or in groups come in waves, gather and separate, to reunite around a "GIANT LIPSTICK" totem tribal/fashion like a God from Easter Island.
Ape screams and shouts and other grunting punctuate the ceremony.
A destructured line, patchwork of colors and fabrics, colorful prints or giant shorts, for unusual dances and poses.
With his collaboration with JOSH JOHNSON and the WILLIAM FORSYTHE COMPANY of FRANKFURT for this ethological show, BERNHARD WILLHELM underlines the importance of the group and its identification signs, a parallel to human/animal behavior.
