The Australian continent remains most of the time "Terra sono incognita" for us little Europeans. Observed from up here, we were more or less bottle-fed by our marvellous media - always on top of what’ going on past 10 years -  seasoned by Crocodile Dundee, INXS, and Kylie Minogue but since 2004 the work of art of Angelspit  in their Studio in Sydney thru their label Black Pill Red Pill, to blast off the speakers...
YEAH! We finally have a breath of polluted air!
Angelspit, a post-punk, ultra glam duo, propels us, without any warning, in a post-bloody nuclear world, with the power of fire Techno/Rock/ Indus -The break beats well corrupted, a combination of guitar/synthetizer/distortion that works out marvellously (rare things since hum... Métal Urbain?!), the voices are vocoded at will  and spit out bloody lyrics.
Amelia "Destroyx" Tan and Karl "ZooG" Leamont the 2 creatures/ creators of Angelspit, share alternatively vocals and instruments, and produce a live doped show C4. Several tours in the US, Europe and the Antipodes had already given us a vision… An infrared vision, of course! To be accurate, all the Neo-Punk, Hideous Glamour, Indus/ Goth and the Dracula-like thoughts and clichés are joyfully lined up and we love that!!
The names of the songs are in the same vein - Nurse Grenade, Psychic Vampire, Infect, À la mode à la mort, Paint Hell Red, Girl Poison, Homo Machinery, Princess Chaos etc… You have been warned, the tone is assertive, you are told, so as to acquire in a rush a crucifix made of silica!!
Edge and seduction, big sound and dance floor, shows and fantasy, worry and Neuro-Electronic suspicion... Atari Teenage Riot ex-fans will surely join in!
Angelspit exposes us to radiation: we will have a hard time to decontaminate. It will depend on you, just like in the famous movie… The Black Pill or the Red Pill??
