Bigidi plakata
Inspired by pop culture and fed with Soulages' black (painter of light and black)the young guadeloupean Anais Verspan's paintings depicts perfectly the future of caribbean Art and the relationship between caribbean people with nature, where everything is connected to feeling, touch, sound, a place where silence doesn't exist.
Anais inherited an understanding of the conceptual notion of time and space from her director father, and as the body is the most tangible proof of our existence, the artist integrates the nervous center with a foot motion, weaves its roots, combines the body and the power of the motion in a pop aesthetique and therefore recreates the beauty of the gesture and the power of the momentum.
With her feet buried in her ground and her eyes looking at the world, Anais Verspan graceful gait invites us to discover the various paths of an animated and mobile Pop Art.
