An order from the Opéra National de Paris for the 20th anniversary of the Opéra Bastille.
“I entitled my play Am Anfang (At the Beginning), says Anselm Kieffer, because it starts by the end”. This creation tells of the dejection of an inconsolable world, busy trying to untangle dramas to better recreate a void space.
